Founder and CEO Roland Rabben launched the cloud storage service Jottacloud in 2008 and has since led the company, which has grown to become a leading provider of privacy-friendly cloud storage. In 2025, Telenor Software Lab AS, the company behind the cloud storage service Min Sky, was separated from Telenor and incorporated into Jotta Group in a transaction that valued the companies at NOK 1.5 billion.
– What started as an idea in 2007 has become a company with more than 1.2 million paying customers in over 120 countries. I am incredibly proud of that. The company is very well positioned for further development, and it feels right to pass the baton. Ina combines commercial acumen with technological understanding and the ability to build strong teams. I could not have wished for a better person to lead the company going forward, says Roland Rabben. Ina Halvorsen Seim has served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Jotta Group for the past three years.
– Ina has delivered strong results at Jotta Group over the past three years and knows the company well. The combination of strategic drive and operational execution capability makes her well suited for the role of CEO, says Joakim Karlsen, who has served on Jotta’s board since 2018.
Regarding the appointment, Ina Halvorsen Seim says:

International expansion
Increased skepticism toward American services is leading to continued growth in Jotta Group’s customer base. A focus on privacy, security, and Norwegian data storage has been a consistent theme in the company since outgoing CEO Roland Rabben founded it in 2008.
